8 Star Energy is an innovative and high-growth Australian business that secured the sole licence to produce and distribute home and portable batteries, EV chargers, inverters and solar panels under the Energizer and Eveready brands in 59 countries spanning Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the UK and North America.

After acquiring an initial equity position in the business from the founder and seed investors via a special-purpose investment vehicle, FinCap subsequently contributed further equity capital in August 2021.

8 Star Energy is now raising additional equity to support the delivery of a large volume of purchase orders from key European distributors (AU$100M+), prepare for its market entry into North America, and optimise its balance sheet.

Wholesale investors are invited to participate in the syndicated capital raise via the existing FinCap unit trust, which is seeking to increase its existing 13.5% ownership stake in 8 Star Energy.
